Complex emergency response exercises were held in Inteco

Complex exercises were held to localize and eliminate emergency situations at the premises of oil and gas treatment Department.

Specialists from the Center for Emergency, Rescue and Ecological Operations and from the fire department took part in the exercises.

According to the scenario, as a result of the depressurization of the vertical steel tank No. 4 with a volume of 11,000 m3, there was an oil spill of about 3,950 m3 on ​​1,500 m2 with the fire threat of gas-oil mixture. Due to joint actions and emergency restoration works, simulated oil spill was localized, the risk of fires prevented and eliminated.

Such regular exercises are aimed at the training of Inteco to respond properly to any emergency situations of natural and industrial nature.

Upon completion of the exercise, a detailed action analysis was performed and the observers gave positive assessment to the readiness of Inteco personnel to provide proper emergency response.
