Inteco MC supported expedition on the study of Atlantical walrus in the Barents sea

Presentation of the Atlantic walrus study results in the south-eastern part of the Barents Sea was held within the framework of the International Conference “Marine mammals of the Holarctic”.
The data was obtained during the expedition, organized in 2016. The study was conducted by experts from the Council for Marine Mammals. Walrus is the most suitable indicator among marine mammals for the ecological state of the southeastern part of the Barents Sea.
Inteco pays great attention to the conservation of biodiversity around its offshore facilities, including strict observance of the zero-discharge principle, both in exploration and production drilling, and at the stage of commercial production of hydrocarbons.
