World News: Iran offers Russia to cooperate on ten oil and gas fields

Iran is discussing cooperation with Russia on 10 oil and gas fields, Iranian Oil Minister Javad Oudji said.

“We have strong cooperation with reputable Russian companies in the oil and gas sector. Over the past two years, certain contracts have been signed and some of our fields are already being developed by Russian colleagues and partners,” – he said.

“In addition to the previous fields, we have 10 more new fields, in which we decided to involve our Russian colleagues in cooperation. Both today and yesterday we discussed the partnership of our Russian colleagues in these fields,” – Oudzhi added.

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak later, in response to a question from journalists about which 10 projects they are and at what stage they are, said that work is already underway on a number of fields.
